IETO IT-Connects 2022

Talent Matchmaking Event held by Indonesian Embassy & CBtalent

IETO IT-Connects 2022

Through CBtalent, CrossBond successfully assisted IETO (Indonesian Economic and Trade Office to Taipei), in holding the first Talent Matchmaking Event to connect Indonesian talent and Taiwanese enterprises.

CBtalent and CrossBond have always focused on the ASEAN and India region. With approximately 16,000 Indonesian studying in Taiwan, making them one of the largest groups of international students in the country, CBtalent and CrossBond are committed to integrate Indonesian students and talent’s association with Taiwanese enterprises looking for opportunities to invest in Indonesia.
Thus, From the moment Mr. Ali Fauzi, Director of the Investment Department at IETO, mentioned IT-Connects 2022. We are certain that we need to be a part of this talent pool event and support the IETO. Together, we aim to bring together governments, corporations, highly potential investors, and talents in one place. Thus, CBtalent has contributed not only in the implementation of the event starting from overall event planning,  execution, emcee to overall event design but also in enterprises invitation, where we have successfully invited large enterprises and startups to match them with outstanding Indonesian talents looking for job opportunities in the IT-Connect 2023.

This event consisted of sharing sessions from the companies for audiences to understand more about the company and how Indonesian talent could further support these enterprises in their expansion to Indonesia. And going beyond to accommodate two-way communication, the IT-Connect 2022 provided a talk show session where government, experts, enterprises, and students get to have a fluid discussion about talent readiness in the Semiconductor and Basic Electronic Industry & electronic vehicle (EV) industry ecosystem with each other. This session aims to understand different perspectives from different sources. Furthermore, there was a session for enterprises and talents to interact by setting up booths where students can have a walk-in interview with the enterprises’ HR. These sessions are very well-received by both enterprises and talent as they could have uninterrupted time to get to know and understand each other.
