Kartini Day holds immense significance for Indonesians, as it commemorates Raden Ajeng Kartini, a key figure in Indonesian history and a pioneer in the fight for women’s rights and education in the early 20th century.

This event celebrates the pride of Indonesia and the empowerment that Kartini and others fought for. We are deeply moved by the struggles Indonesian women faced in the past, such as limited access to education and employment rights. Hearing their stories fills us with pride.

Throughout the event, attendees will experience a vibrant showcase of Indonesian culture, including local performances and a kids’ fashion show featuring traditional Indonesian attire. We are delighted to see Indonesian student associations actively participating and celebrating Kartini’s Day alongside us.
